Round Valley Trout Association is holding it’s annual Open Trout Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, June 16th and 17th. Fish one or both days. It’s NJ Free Fishing Weekend, so it’s a great opportunity to introduce a buddy to the fabulous fishery at Round Valley Reservoir without having to buy a license.
Registration:
Saturday & Sunday 5am to 10am
Entry Fees:
Adults $20 (includes one or both days, both divisions. All adults on-board a boat must pay an entry fee)
Children under 16 – Free (must register)
Contest Runs:
Saturday 6am to Sunday 3pm
Weigh in Times:
Saturday 6am to 4pm
Sunday 6am to 3pm
Two Divisions:
1. Laketrout
2. Brown / Rainbow Trout
Three Prizes in each Division:
(Prizes Based on half of all combined entry fees)
$100 bonus prize for the largest tagged trout brought to the scale during the two day event. Winner determined, first by weight, tie broken by length.
