Round Valley Fishing Report – 05-31-2010

Time: 9am to 1pm

Date: 05-31-2010

Weather: 86? very little wind

Water Surface Temp: ???? forgot my thermometer and the fishfinder died…

Fish: Caught NOTHING, saw some bluegill and bass over near the ranger cove area. Didn’t see anyone reeling anything in.  One fella on a pontoon boat said he caught one Lake Trout and had just one other hit.

In related news, One of the fellas at Lebanon Bait and Tackle said they expect the availability of live Herring to be sporadic from here on out, mainly due to the fact that there is now only ONE person in the state of NJ catching and selling Herring!!!

Bait: Small Rapala lures, live shiners.

Location: Everywhere.

Method: Trolling small Rapala lures all over the lake at varying depths and speeds and drifting live shiners near the North Tower.
